Weather: The snow let up a bit to start the second but it did pick up before letting back up again. It has been steady throughout the game but conditions seemed much better in the second period.

Action:It continues to be all Blackhawks in this one. Jonathon Toews scored an unassisted goal after Fluerry made a great stop on him earlier. Then Kris Versteeg become the first player to score a goal at the United Center, Soldier Field, Wrigley Field and the All-State Arena.

After two the Hawks lead the Penguins 3-0 and continue to outshoot Pittsburgh 31 to 18.They also have been dominating in the faceoff circle winning 70% of the faceoffs.

Pittsburgh's top rated power play has failed to take advantage of five Blackhawk penalties. They have only managed six shots combined with a man advantage. In fact if it wasn't for Fluerry the score would be even more one sided.

Bryan Bickell did play about 3 minutes in the second period. After playing just 1:49 in the first he now has seen 4:44 minutes of ice time. The main reason for that is probably the absence of Marian Hossa and also that the Hawks have a lead.
