Blackhawks rookie winger Jeremy Morin is really starting to impress.

A week ago against the Blues he had his first assist and first fight and Wednesday against the Dallas Stars he managed to score his first career NHL goal.

Morin is the kid the Blackhawks received in that trade that sent Big Buff, Ben Eager and Brent Sopel to Atlanta. In the four games since his most recent callup to replace Marian Hossa he has 2 points and is a +3 and averaging close to 13 minutes of ice time a night.

If Jeremy continues his strong play he will most likely be a lock to stay with the team even when Hossa, Pisani and Patrick Kane all return from injury. The kid is fast, talented and is starting to show he isn't afraid of physical play.

This kid is a star in the making and might just be the next in line to follow Toews and Kane.
