Nick Leddy had made his last trip from Rockford to Chicago.

The rookie defenseman was recalled by the Hawks Saturday morning and general manager Stan Bowman says Leddy is here to stay now.

Chicago has sent Leddy down to Rockford several times over the past few months in a way  to save a little cap space but with the trading deadline on Monday there is no longer a need to save anymore space.

Leddy, who will be 20 on March 20, was acquired by the Hawks last February from the Wild. In 25 games this season he has 2 goal and is a -2 and has been recently paired with Norris Trophy winner, Duncan Keith.

The Hawks play the Phoenix Coyotes on Sunday at the UC. Puck drops at 7 PM.
