Dave Bolland, who has missed the last month, skated with the team on Saturday. This has been the most encouraging news we have heard on Bolland since he suffered a concussion in Tampa on March 9.

Anyone else think that the Hawks struggles over the last month have something to do with Bolland missing? They had to bring Marcus Kruger over from Sweden, who many have compared him to Bolland, to try and replace him.

Bolland is as close to a shut down center as they come. Just ask Joe Thornton or the Sedin boys how they like to play against Bolland. Dave doesn't just get matched up against the other team's top line but he is also on the second power play unit and a key member of the penalty killing team.

Patrick Sharp shocked many this past week when he returned vs the Blues after not even practicing with the team so why not Bolland now. I don't expect to see Bolland Sunday as the Hawks try to clinch but it wouldn't surprise me either if everything is right if he doesn't dress for the game.

A healthy Hawks team entering the playoffs is exactly what we have all asked for all season and if they make it, they may have all their weapons ready to fire. Watch out NHL the defending champs might not be dead yet.
