The Blackhawks are shaking up things with their AHL affiliate the Rockford Icehogs, Head coach Ted Dent will remain with the team but he might have a whole new staff.
The first move might be the elevation of developmental goaltender coach Andrew Allen. Many expect him to replace the departed Stephane Waite, who left the Hawks last week for the same job with the Canadians.
Tuesday came word that they won't be renewing the contracts of a couple assistants.

Shortly after that announcement they released the news that one of those vacant spots has already been filled.
Osiecki has spent the last three eyes coaching the Ohio State Buckeyes. Before that he was an assistant for the Wisconsin Badgers. He also has spent the last 4 years involved with the Team USA junior team.
Dent is entering his third season as head coach of the Icehogs but his eighth overall with the organization. That means he has in some way coached almost every homegrown Hawks player that have helped them hoist the Cup twice in the last four years.
With how many young guys have moved up the last few years and more expected to move up this year, he might really have his work cut out for himself. Let's hope he and his new staff can gel quickly and continue to keep guys ready when called upon.
