Last time we saw the Blackhawks together as a team they lost 2-0 in Phoenix. Well not really Phoenix since the Coyotes are finally going to admit next season they don't play in Phoenix by changing their name to the Arizona Coyotes, but that's a whole different matter. Next time we will see the Hawks back together is 20 days later on Thursday February 27th in New York taking on the Rangers.

During the time off half the team went to Russia to represent 4 different countries while the other half got to sit back and relax. Brandon Bollig organized a trip to Mexico and if you follow him a Twitter you can tell he had a good time during the break.

But how did the 10 guys do that went over to Russia? Unless you have a lot of time on your hands and sleep very little you probably didn't get a chance to see all the games or even most of the games. I would love for someone to explain to me how the Women's Hockey's gold medal game was on at 11 AM central time but the men has to drop the puck at 6 AM. If anyone is looking for another reason why the NHL will try not to send player in 4 years, add that to the list.
